Radiant and Hydronic Heating Options

Whether you opt for a radiant or hydronic heating system, either is a good choice for keeping your home or office warm and toasty. We’re well-versed in how each system operates and can help you choose the best option for your situation.

Radiant – or in-floor – heat is comfortable, quiet, and efficient. Heat is conducted through the floor and broadcast to cold objects – and people – throughout each room. No ducts or grills are required. More efficient than heated air that’s blown into a room by a furnace, radiant heat produces fewer allergens, too.

Cost-effective hydronic heating uses boilers to warm your home or business. The boilers produce hot water that disperses heat via pipes to radiators, baseboards, coils, etc. Hydronic heating is quiet, durable, efficient, clean, and safe. 

Another option is a hydro air handler. A combination of a hot water and a hot air system, it uses a hot water boiler, fired by oil or gas, to generate heat. Water is pumped through tubing into an air handler unit that includes a hot water coil, an air conditioning coil, and a fan (blower) unit.
